Soo Boat Watching

I was wondering if someone could help me figure out some information. I am planning a trip to the Soo in July and was wondering how to tell what days there will be traffic and how much. I am new to this hobby and area. I have looked into what is available to do and there is a lot. I guess I am trying to figure out and plan an approach as to what we should do each day.
