1986 was the year that a new record was set for high water, for each month but one, January.

I was noticing the water level compared to the dock in those pictures. It seems the water back in 1986 was quite a bit higher than it has been lately.

You're welcome Capt. Send me a note with your e-mail, I have some of the Willowglen in the canal May 2,1991. Were you aboard? Tom Bates was the 1st mate at the time.

Thanks Marc for sending those pictures of the Willowglen. I was skipper on her in 1991 but never took any pictures, now I wished I had. I was the last Captain to sail her and layed her up in Owen Sound. She stayed there tied up for years. Just before towing her to Goderich I went aboard and took the Builders Plate. I have it at home today. Capt. R. Metz
