You are correct. They are essentially the same besides the accomodation block.

It appears that the Algosoo's hull is very similar to that of the Algolake. Was the same hull design used, with different superstructure placement on both boats? It looks like you could drop the Algosoo's forward cabins & pilot house onto the bow of the Algolake and you would have essentially the same boat.
