Love looking at the live camera s from Duluth .
Has the Welland canal ever considered live cameras for the public to view? Eg lock 3
Curious !

Re: indiana harbor
That was fine ship handling. Having twin screw and bow and stern thrusters make the job easier and knowing what your boat can do.Paul A wrote:That was just fine ship handling! Maybe because of a stern thruster too.
Duluth Harbor Cam put a video together with both cameras.

indiana harbor
I was watching the two harbors cam this morning and the Indiana harbor definitely left the dock in an unusual way. Hopefully they didn't suffer any damage. when backing out typically the ships back most of the way out or just shy of the bow reaching the end of the dock, then swinging left and out and around the lighthouse. this morning she backed up about half way and started swinging. It did look like she was under control the whole while but the stern appeared to be awful close to the end of the dock.
