What really jumps out on the SMET schedule is the PRT arriving for lay up on January 2. There had been talk it would go to Bayship for exhaust scrubbers, along with the Mesabi Miner.

It also appears the dock is then closed for the season.

On the SMET schedule she is due Tues. night 11/29 to load coal. She shows up 4 times on the new SMET schedule. Tomorrow night, 12/15, 12/22 and 12/29. Probably could also get a couple pellet loads in between.

Well after checking out the DSN website late today, it looks like I did indeed overlook and miss the fact that Yes she is due to load at the MERC Coal Dock on November 30 of this week taking that load to St. Clair and then returning on December 3 to load ore at the CN Ore Dock in Duluth. Does anyone know or have heard yet as to just how many trips the Indy will have before she heads on over to Sturgeon Bay and Bay Ship for her 5 year this winter? Thank You.

The Indiana Harbor also showed up on the AIS map a few days ago. I assume this was because of the impending return to sailing, but does anyone know what makes it all of a sudden "appear" on the map? Thanks.

In this case it was likely her crew turning her AIS unit / transponder on.

Haven't had the time yet today to check on that one garbear as I either must have missed something or they had her their all along and like I said I missed it? I thought surely though on DSN that it did not have her listed at MERC on the 30th? One of the schedules that I saved at one point had her at CN/Duluth on the 30th during the morning to load and then later that got changed to December 3rd in the morning. So, I am a bit in a fog and puzzle right now other than surely in the next week "The Big Indy should be out!"

Denny- DSN is now showing her loading pellets on the 3rd at the CN docks in West Duluth.

Hopefully this is a final, but DSN has her loading coal on the 30th and pellets on the 3rd.

According to the schedule on Duluth Shipping News this a.m., it has the Indiana Harbor loading at SMET on Wed., 11/30.

Earlier I had posted that the Indiana Harbor was due to load at the CN Ore Dock in Duluth on November 30 in the morning. This has now been changed so, please dis-regard that information as she is now scheduled to move over and load at CN on December 3 in the morning hours subject to change.

She's showing up on the SMET schedule to be loading 12/8 for St. Clair.
