Re: Southdown challenger
The Challenger will stay on Lake Michigan the only way she would be down that way is if she gets a load from Lafarge. That would be a load out of Alpena and unload at the Lafarge dock in Detroit. Second reason is that demand spikes here and there but doesn't wornt the Challenger to ever leave Lake Michigan. Third and last reason is the Medusa dock in detroit is now gone and the Medusa dock in Cleveland is now sitting idle. The St. Marys plant in Cleveland dock is way up the river and doesn't have the option to unload the challenger. The dock in Teldeo does have the option but along with the dock in Cleveland it is survice by the St. Marys Cement II and St. Marys Cement. Also you can not mix US cement with Canadian cement.

Any chance she will make any trips to the detroit area this season. In years past she was a regular. Any idea why she stays on lake michigan nowdays?
