Interview Request

Good afternoon everyone!
I'm throwing is request out there to see if there are any sailors who sailed on older bulk carriers on this discussion board who would be interested in being interviewed (either in person or via email) about what it was like to sail on these vessels. I am primarily interested in the mid 20th century steamers but any of the older steamers would be great. Position on the boat doesn't matter to me.
Before anyone throws any warnings on my post I'm merely a history teacher who studies Great Lakes shipping and shipwreck history and am looking to get a "bigger picture" of my subject matter. No con games or money making project here...just pure historical interest.
