It appears that Edgar B. Speer is unloading into the Atlantic Huron. I don't recall this being done in Conneaut in the past. But the Speer in the mid-2000s a couple of times would unload into a CSL self-unloader in Long Point bay with the CSL vessel then unloading at Nanticoke.

For a while in the late-1980s, the Speer and Gott (when she had her shuttle boom) would often unload into a Great Lakes Fleet 767-footer while anchored near the Cleveland. The iron ore pellets were then taken to US Steel's Lorain Works.

Looking at AIS at conneaut habour, it looks like the Huron is moored next to Speer. Could they be doing direct transfer of iron ore? If so this form of transfer might become more common.
