I believe these two questions have been asked before? Yes as far as vessels still bunkering fuel at both the Imperial IOL Dock in Sarnia and Shell in Corunna. However, now most of the ships now are taking bunkers at Detroit Mistersky and sometimes Sterling in Windsor.

Can’t answer your questions but, not surprised to hear that she might be renamed while in Sarnia. Don’t Algoma have an interest in this ship such as owned or a charter or lease? Also if she’s to be renamed, where they come up with the name Algoluna from for her? Surprised that none of their tankers has the name ALGOSAR for Sarnia as I would’ve thought surely that they would’ve renamed and chosen that name for one of their tankers since Algoma does much of their business in Sarnia and the Imperial Oil Docks there.

Seeing some rumours on social media that the Birgit Knutsen will be renamed in Sarnia and her new name will be the Algoluna. Anyone know if this is just rumour or confirmed?
