Re: Drain the Great Lakes TV Show
I watched it last night. It was a snooze fest.
Watching a new simpson episode would of been more rewarding.

Re: Drain the Great Lakes TV Show
I also checked NatGeo's website and also Discovery including both website's stores and came up empty and blank. It appears to me that this is a special done by a private company or organization and unfortunately the only way get a DVD copy is through them and not from NatGeo's or Discovery's website. I remember back in the 1990's when Discovery had the Shipwreck show about the Edmund Fitzgerald on and I taped it on VHS. I can't even find that one anywhere on anybody's website VHS or DVD and I looked.
Re: Drain the Great Lakes TV Show
I just checked. not yet available at NatGeo

Drain The Great Lakes was aired on the National Geographic channel a few weeks ago. It is a very fascinating and well done program. You may be able to get a copy of the DVD through NatGeo.

I saw this show the other day on the National Geographic channel. I live in the US, so just keep your eyes open.
Regardless of that, if your expecting lots of lake freighter stuff don't buy it. Their isn't much, maybe 5 minutes at the end of the show mostly revolving around the Fitz.

I saw it on the National Geographic channel about a week ago. Pretty good, although (and no disrespect to the sailors on her), I wish they would stop treating the Fitzgerald like she is the only wreck in the lake.
