AIS/Constant Display

I use a smart TV and the AIS on this site to display the ships. It’s nice because this site autorefreshes every couple minutes, where as other sites, like Marine Traffic, do not.

It was a little tricky to pan into one particular spot, depending on the capabilities of your tv.

The TV at the Vantage Point building was hooked up to a computer with the website playing in the background. Most smart TVs don't have browsing capabilities.

Moving on Lake Huron later this summer and am wondering if I set up a smart tv and connect to AIS will it show boats as they appear and move on the lake. Remember a similar display at Vantage Point at one time.
Wasn’t sure if AIS would continue to show boats progress or not
