Very nice! Thanks for posting this link! The uploader on Youtube did make one minor mistake, however, as they listed the video as being from 1971 when the closing credits lists a 1981 copyright. This is further evidenced by the presence of the Soo River Company steamers, the Algorail with a single dark blue hull color, and the Ralph Misener without its unique Conflow self-unloading system all of which would have not been possible had the original film been produced in 1971. I'm certain that someone with a list of saltwater vessel passages through the St. Lawrence Seaway could narrow done the year the footage comes from even further, if in fact it all comes from a single season which is highly likely. It was nice to see some old ships from my youth. It was especially interesting to see the Hallfax as it seemed to be one of the few Halco carriers of the late 1970s to early 1980s I don't ever recall actually seeing in the St. Clair River.

Taken from a conversion of a 16mm film print provided by the St. Catharines Public Library. Lots of old friends in this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eD-mvBohBtw
