A NW wave/sea/swell on the Block’s quarter will make the ship roll too much sailing straight to the Soo from Marquette.
Going north and putting the sea more directly on the stern will substantially reduce rolling and makes everyone much more comfortable.

It’s all about getting a “good ride.”

is there someone that can explain where she went and why ?
AIS shows her leaving Marquette, then up to Keweenaw Pt, then east towards the Soo.
Makes NO sense to me ......... but I'm sure there's a reason
