Some webcams while watching the fighters have a online chat mode which makes it more interesting and hold folks attention while waiting, gets 500 viewers at a time, but requires heavy moderation to prevent abuse.

Suggestion: To promote more why not display on the ais.boatnerd.com on the left menu the Boatnerd Scanners (there are what 2 now?) or have a layer like stations or "stations & scanners", and if more boatnerd volunteers in the bigger ports upload marine feeds in their areas, the url links to those feeds could be easily added. Add a FAQ about how this could be performed.

Folks can listen and look for their boats at the same time.

Bookmarks / urls, are great idea: one click boatnerd radio on, one click ais page is open, one click to read boatnerd news, one click boatnerd facebook, one click fourms.

Also promote the forums url on facebook and ais

Suggestion add a 3rd line to the logo? to get more folks involved.
