If they have been cleaned and repositioned then perhaps maybe I can start watching the action on them again. Haven't gotten too interested in them yet since they have been out of alignment but, now I might have to get interested in them once again. At least it will be fun to watch the boats in the ice locking through.

Figures, the day the lock opens, the cameras freeze.

Maintenance or electrical staff shouldn't be needed to re-position the two cameras as they are remote controlled. Now, cleaning bugs and webs from the lenses, that's another story.

I just hope that the cameras work period this year and that they are not down for any length of time. In 2012 there was a problem with them and for a while it seemed that they were never going to get them fixed. Thanks to them "working on the cameras and the fact they were down for so long last year, I finally gave up trying to watch them at that time at least." Can't wait to watch again in 2013.

Recent storms have knocked the cameras out of position. Unfortunately right now the electricians and maintenance guys have their hands full with projects on the locks. Repositioning the cameras is on the 'to do list' but right now there are some higher priority projects higher up on that list.

Are all of the cams going to be positioned and ready for our big day?

Reason why I ask, it looks like the two cams looking west are right on the money.

However, the other two: Davis Bldg Cam, is honed in on the park; Adm Bldg Cam seems to be more sky than on the east pier.

I sure hope they are ready to go! Even sooner would be Super(ior) Cool!! (as of Thursday nite, the PRT is on her way; hint, hint)
