I've traveled on several occasions to take pictures of ships on the Saginaw River, including the first visit by the Wilfred Sykes and the Canadian Transfer after it suffered rudder damage and required a tow out. It would have been nice to see the Herbert C. Jackson in the waterway!

Since reentering service after its repowering, I have noticed the Herbert C. Jackson making a few runs outside of its usual loads into the Rouge River. Has it made any trips into that waterway with its new engine or is it being used in different trade patterns to break in its engine?
