Thanks to both garbear and Dave for answering my questions as far as Escanaba lay-ups on the Joseph H. Thompson along with the Joyce L. Van Enkevort and Great Lakes Trader. I sort of figured that they both may have laid-up at Basic Marine but was not 100% sure as I know before the Thompson used to lay-up years ago at the Reiss Dock I think it was? To follow up on what Dave suggested on the lay-up list, Yes I see it is on the lay-up list now that you had mentioned it. However, I don't always have the time to check that one out on a daily basis. I've been very busy this winter dealing with health related issues and family medical issues as well. I don't always have the time either to check out the News Page on some of the stories as well. That's why I come here more often looking and hoping to find out stuff. Again, thanks for your response and reply to my questions though as that was just what I need there.

Check the Boatnerd Lay Up List. It is updated every day, and sometime more than once a day as information comes in.

Denny-Before the Joyce L. AIS quit transmitting it looked like it was at the Basic Marine dock. Nothing on the Thompson.

Can someone confirm where the Joseph H. Thompson along with the Great Lakes Trader and Joyce L. Van Enkevort are laid-up at in Escanaba? Yes or No are they at the Basic Marine whatever the heck place is that they were laid-up at last winter in 2015-16 or at another location? We sort of got off track here on this post and I am hoping that someone may know where the Van Enkevort ships are laid-up at in Escanaba this winter. Thanks for any information.

Escanaba Lay-Ups

Anyone hear or know of the lay-up locations in Escanaba for the Great Lakes Trader and Joyce L. Van Enkevort along with the Joseph H. Thompson and their barge? There was nothing said or mentioned in today's Port Reports as far as where in Escanaba they are laid-up at. If anyone knows where those two vessels are laid up in Escanaba, I would appreciate any information. Thanks.
