Maybe the hatch crane was running to place hatch covers? Good question and interested in what others might be able to share. BTW, News Photo Gallery of 8 April 2010 as submitted by Dave Carr in case others might be searching for this photo as I did.

Algoway boom up

In a recent news photo gallery, Algoway's boom is up as it leaves Owen Sound. Why is that?
