Haunted Great Lakes Freighters

While I'm not one to be inclined in any way to believe in hauntings or ghosts, I can say that when you visit some empty places such as old buildings, ships, etc. it seems very easy to get a strange feeling knowing that where you are was once a place of activity in which people once worked and/or lived. Due to their nature, ships can seem to give off a strange vibe probably because there are usually some types of noises like those often found in old homes. This is, in my opinion, where a lot of the ghost stories and hauntings originate from although I will concede that there is no way of proving it one way or the other much less the veracity of the existence or non-existence of hauntings.

Which great lakes freighters were or are said to be haunted?

I'm going to guess there are probably some good stories out there about the Middletown as she had many fatalities on board her over the years.
