Fritz Simonson Henry Ford II

I have the following listings for an F. Simonson: Third Mate on the Barlow in 1943; First Mate on the Barralton in 1944; Third Mate on the Meteor in 1947; Third Mate on the Henry Ford II in 1948; and Third Mate on the Henry Ford II in 1949. The Barlow and Barralton were tugs operated by Ford, the Meteor is a whaleback tanker that was operated by Cleveland Tankers and currently a museum up in Superior, and the Henry Ford II was a traditional straight decker operated by Ford.

Does antone know when my uncle Fritz Simonson worked on the Henry Ford II I would like to know what he did he passed away a few years ago.
