MERC has W J McCarthy listed

I am re-editing previous post as to not take up
page space here, looks as if the WJ McCarthy is
scheduled to take a few hauls of iron ore from Silver
Bay the way its looking now, just looked at the
Midwest Energy (MERC) schedule an notice now
that they have the WJ McCarthy for May 27th,
keep your eye on the Twin Ports shipping schedule.

Locked throu up-bound this morning around 10:30.

The upbound Walter J McCarthy locked through late this morning at the Soo and now in the upper river.

it left Bayship and is due at Silver Bay on the 14th according to Duluth Shipping News. MERC schedule still has it arriving on the 20th.

It's scheduled to load taconite in Silver Bay on Friday.

they recently updated this an its now slated to be
in Superior WI on May 20th. its best to keep an

The McCarthy is in ballast on Tuesday. yesterday yard crews were taking yard equipment off the decks. Just wondering when it going to sail.

MERC is the Midwest Energy Resource Dock in Superior, WI. They claim the fastest load rate of any dock on the Great Lakes and handle low sulfur western coal railed in from Wyoming & Montana.

Just happen to look at the updated MERC schedule
for May an noticed they have the Walter J McCarthy
tentatively scheduled for May 18th, thats good news.
